Today in flip grid I did something interesting in kete about kaitaikitanga. My flip grid is awesome and I think that I have done well.

Today for PE we did gymnastics,it was so hard to do but I finally made it.The hard one was the jump over the cone in thick line then jump backwards and it was challenge.Today we are going to do some more gymnastics, we jump on the trampoline we had to jump then sit down then turn other way then sit down again.

How to show Kiatiakitanga to Quail Island?
To show kiatiakitanga is to respect the land, look after things for example if any animal is in trouble or stuck we have to have them If we did not help they might get killed by other animals or can hurt there self.


How to show Sustainability to Quail Island?
To show sustainability is to do not litter or pollute the island an example for sustainability if we are littering or dumping rubbish anywhere in island or any places that causes pollution which can kill plants, animals and there habitats.If that happens people have to cut down the tree(Deforestation).
Or you can plant some more trees.


How to show Rahui Tapu to Quail Island?
To show Rahui Tapu is a restricted area which we can't go there it is a symbol or sign that you're not allowed to go there.It is like if there is a restricted area in sea and you want to go to fishing then you are not maybe there are not enough fish to live.And like you have cookies with you and there is a sign which said not to bring or eat here maybe there will be some kind of disease that you can't eat there.

Rama is the hero of the story of Diwali, rescuing the kidnapped Sita from her captor. And here is the beautiful Sita, kidnapped by the evil Ravana but rescued by Rama and Hanuman. In the story of Diwali, diya are used to light the way for Rama and Sita's return home.

We were making some Rangoli here is the image, we use candles and diya.












So on Thursday I invited my friends and my teacher is named Sarah Richardson and Nick Williams my ESOL teacher.They had a lot of fun even they asked what is Diwali?,What is it about?, and then They ate the food they said it was cool here is an image.

After That we went out and light some candles, diya then we all set down and talk talking pictures of it here is an image

My teacher has learnt a lot of Deepawali and why do we light the diya and candles.

What game we played?
The game we are playing is Gumption,and we enjoyed that game.The game is about the business making money,buying properties,did you now when buying the property lot money is wasting and sometimes bad luck when you are in someones property have pay the money to the owner.

What challenges did you face in each game?
The challenges was that I had no money to pay the money but slowly I had money because they were in my property they had to pay me.

Car Race Results

What did we do?

It was a fair race the group of students had same material's,the races were fastest car, furthest car and stop at the green line.we all used the same tracks in the race in first race we need to make the car go fast and when we raced our car needed more friction to make it fast.In second race we have to make the car slow to stop at the green line then we raced ours was so close then we tried again and it drift.The last race was the furthest race we modified the car to go furthest my car went 1.55m.

These are the car which I modified, the first car was the fastest car, the second is to stop at the green line.The third one is the furthest car how far the car will go.

Vortex Cannon

Aim-how far our Vortex Cannon can shoot on plastics cup.

Method-first we should cut a hole in the bucket then we put garbage bag on the bucket so then we tape it and hit on that garbage bag.

Bucket or Cardboard box
Plastic cups

Smoke Machine

Results:
About tried to knock it out and it worked, I hit from three metres and this experiment worked.

I have modified the car made big spoiler and put more weight infront to make it slow.

3.What forces are needed to make the car stop and what adjustments have you made to try & stop it by the line?
To put more weight infront and put spoiler to make faster.

4.What forces are needed to make the car travel further and what adjustment have you made to achieve this?
I need to make balance force to make the car travel further.We have put the spoiler to increase aerodynamics.
